Faith Formation for Pre-K - Grade 8
Faith Formation for Grades 9 - 12
Faith Formation for ALL:
Faith formation is a life-long process and wherever you are on your faith journey, you are welcome to watch and "participate in" the reflection videos offered to you by our priests and parish staff. Each video will offer a reflection on the liturgy, most often the Gospel Reading for the upcoming week, and will offer some questions or points for you to discuss with your family or other members of the faith community, to ponder on your own, etc. It is one more way to not only grow in our faith, but to remain connected to one another -- especially important at this current time. So watch, reflect, and grow!
After watching this week's Gospel Reflection video, reflect on the following:
In this coming weeks Gospel, Jesus calls us all to be his disciples and to follow him. He calls us to challenge ourselves to “conform ourselves to Jesus Christ”.
-Where do I see God in the world around me?
-In what way do I struggle to confirm myself to Jesus?
-In his reflection, Fr. Michael quotes “Jesus is the friend, who, when you are around him, you don’t mind taking off your armor.” How can I be more authentic and open with Jesus? What do I try to hide from the world that I don’t need to hide from Jesus?
- For children: Remembering that Jesus sees all of us, even what no one else can see, draw a picture or write down all that the Lord sees in me.
